Greige and Dyed Fabrics
The product range includes rigid and stretch fabrics, with recycled cotton/polyester, organic, bi-stretch, stay-black, yarn-dyed, dobby, CVC and regular twill/satin qualities. Fabrics made using two-ply yarns are also available.
Cotton fabrics are dyed using reactive, vat, sulphur and pigment dyes. Polyester blends use disperse dyes combined with reactive or pigment dyes. Quality controllers inspect fabrics at each stage of finishing.
Testing and Inspection
In-house laboratory testing checks yarn count variation, imperfections and tensile strength to help maintain fabric standards.
Fabric inspection and grading are reviewed on the Barco computer system, and customers can select their preferred inspection method. Modern technology and a dedicated product development team support a broad range of fabric styles.
Printed Fabrics
Printing is part of our integrated textile processing set-up. IRR camouflage-printed fabrics are offered with vat, disperse and pigment dyes.
Finishes
Sanforizing, emerizing, microsanding, resin, air permeability, wrinkle-free, Teflon, flame-retardant, water/oil and mosquito-repellent, soil-release, Silvadur and antimicrobial treatments.
Coatings
PU, acrylic, rub, shiny, leather, transparent, coloured, waxy, oily, water-repellent and resin coatings.
Dyeing, Printing and Finishing Partners
Our associate mills specialise in dyeing, finishing and printing of 100% cotton, poly-cotton blends and stretch (Lycra) fabrics, using machinery from Monforts, Goller, Brückner, Müller, Lafer and Parex. They handle fabrics from 2 oz/sq. yd to 14 oz/sq. yd in both continuous and exhaust dyeing — twills, drills, poplin, ottoman, dobby, canvas and Lycra fabrics — and meet the toughest performance parameters set for poly-cotton workwear.
